BIOGRAPHIE

 

ROOTS WARRIORS SOUND has been created in 2002 by Selecta RudyRoots. After few collaborations with local singers like Gringo, I Dread, Kareem or Mighty Matis between 2002 and 2006, the Sound became a team composed of two persons : Selecta RudyRoots and KhurtLion as MC.
Since then, ROOTS WARRIORS played in few different events, bars, clubs and even farms. The Sound came to play a bit less because of travelling but still continue to be present.
In 2009, Selecta RudyRoots export the Sound in Israel for a while, playing with the local Sound Systems and Bands.
The selection of the Sound is based on Roots Music, combining Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Digital, Nu Roots and Ragga.
Roots Warriors is a Positive and Militant Sound spreading a message of Unity and Respect.



                ROOTS WARRIORS SOUND existe depuis 2002. Le Sound est composé à la base d'un selecta : RudyRoots. Après plusieurs collaborations avec les chanteurs Gringo, I Dread ou Kareem ou encore Tonton Irie pour l'animation entre 2002 et 2006, le Sound est ramené à deux personnes : Selecta RudyRoots et KhurtLion pour l'animation.
Depuis 2007, Selecta RudyRoots étant en voyage, le Sound est moins actif mais néanmoins présent puisque KhurtLion continue de jouer localement.
En 2009, Selecta RudyRoots joue en Israel, exportant ainsi le Roots Warriors Style dans la capitale israelienne.

La sélection du Sound est basée sur le Roots y mêlant Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Digital, NuRoots & Ragga.
Un Sound Positif et Militant qui aspire à l'UNITE et au RESPECT.
